Get the most from your Free Trial

Here are 3 top tips to help you get the most out of your first class

 

GROW WITHIN THE PROGRAM


Our classes are designed for 1 year olds, who have just started walking, through to kids 6 years old. Many of the little ones in your first class will have been working with our coaches for months, maybe years. Whatever stage your little one is at, our Coaches will help them develop the 12 core skills they need to thrive playing soccer and diverse sports, by age 6. They will progress through 6 levels, gaining proficiency in kicking, juggling, throwing, catching and striking. Along the way, we'll celebrate their effort and learning as they collect their Champ Stamps.

 

PARTICIPATE ALONGSIDE YOUR CHAMP

Parents and grandparents assist the little ones through the class, with the support and guidance of our Coaches. For new-walkers, this can be a work-out for the grown-ups as you help them navigate the obstacle course and have a go at the exercises. You'll see them gradually gain more independence as their skills grow in the months and years ahead. In your first classes, it's all about helping them get familiar with the new environment and start to have fun with the exercises, so they catch the spark of love for sports.

 

CONNECT WITH OUR COMMUNITY

One of the most special aspects of Roo's Champs is the supportive community of parents and grand-parents around you. Whether it's during your free trial or gradually over subsequent weeks, it's a great opportunity to start making connections. Bring a friend too, and use our Refer a Friend scheme to enjoy booking discounts.

Some other practical tips 

​

  • REGISTER for your Free Trial in advance

  • BRING a water bottle and wear comfy clothes and non-slippery shoes to run around in

  • CHECK where to park and how to enter the venue on our Find Us page

  • COME 10 minutes early to settle in and meet the Coaches 

  • TAKE your uniform at the end of class ready for the following week​
